Regarding your surgery

From Tuesday, 1 April 2025, The Mote Medical Practice will be responsible for your care and treatment at Staplehurst Health Centre. This change will make sure you continue to receive the same services at your surgery. 

The current provider of GP services at Staplehurst Health Centre (Malling Health Four) gave notice in 2023 of their intention to end their contract at the end of March 2025.

To ensure all patients who are registered with Malling Health Four at Staplehurst Health Centre continue to access primary medical care services after 31 March 2025. The Mote Medical Practice will be opening a branch surgery in the health centre on 1 April 2025. With Mote Medical Practice providing GP services, there will be no change to the opening hours, website address or telephone number. Patients will be able to continue to access the Staplehurst Health Centre as usual.

You do not need to take any action. However, if you do not wish to receive care from The Mote Medical Practice, you have the right to register with another GP practice, if you are in their catchment area. Information on nearby practices can be found here. 

If you do have difficulties in re-registering with another GP practice, or have any questions linked to your registration, you can leave a message on 01634 335095 option six and a member of the team will call you back.
